STUDENT-LED LUNCHTIME ADVENTURES

At West Beach Primary School, we offer a wide range of lunchtime clubs each week to build student engagement, social skills, and inclusion.

These clubs support every child – especially those who may find the playground overwhelming or who are looking to make new friends or need a quieter space.

The Value of Lunchtime Clubs:

Clubs give students a chance to connect, develop social and emotional skills, and feel a stronger sense of belonging. They create a positive school climate, reduce playground issues, and promote peer and teacher relationships. All students are welcome!

ABOUT OUR CLUBS

Clubs vary throughout the year and may include:

• Gardening and Sustainability
• Craft, Art, Lego and games
• STEM and Code Club
• Japanese
• Sport and skipping
• Music and karaoke
• Table tennis
• PALs playground and hall activities

Senior students also help run Café Kizuna, a not-for-profit lunchtime café for Years 5 and 6 offering affordable treats, activities and opportunities to socialise.

Students who prefer active outdoor play can enjoy our playgrounds, oval, nature play spaces and sports courts. Lunchtime at WBPS provides opportunities for every student to play, connect and belong.
